In today’s podcast episode, featuring Julie Andrews, we adapt the story “The Door That No One Could Open” by a third-grader named Claire. In the story, tries over and over again to open a door. Each time they try to open it, they do the same thing, Claire repeated one line of the story five times, using repetition to add some humor. Today’s Activity Guide helps creators use repetition in their own stories!

In one of today’s new stories, “The Door That No One Could Open,” by a kid from Illinois named Claire, a family tries over and over again to open a door. Each time they try to open it, they do the same thing: "lean back as hard as they can and yell, 'Mommy! Daddy!'” Claire repeated that line of the story five times, using repetition to add some humor to the story. Today’s Activity Guide helps creators use repetition in their own stories!

Our incredible designer, Camilla Franklin, illustrates one of the stories from each podcast episode. This week, we wanted to provide Creator Club members with a coloring activity based on her illustration for "Sarah’s Song Story!” Hopefully, this will provide a fun bonus activity for your creators to enjoy while listening to the episode!
