My Monster Friends by Ava, Age 12, Illinois
Rosie was always afrade of under her bed. Every night she had to have her dad check for any sign of monsters. One night Rosie herd a noise comming from under her bed. She checked under her bed and there she saw a big green monster, but it didn't look scarry, it looked scared itself. Rosie went under the bed with the monster and asked it what was wrong. The Monster said, " I'm hidding under your bed because I'm scared of the monseter in you closet." Rosie When over the her closet and opened the door. Inside was a big pink monseter. Again it didn't look scarry, it look scared. "what is wrong" Rosie asked. The monster replyed, "I am very scarred of the monster in the shadows, thats why I'm hidding here." Rosie when to the darkest part of her room and saw a big Yellow monster. She asked it what was wrong and the monster said in a shakey voice, "I'm scarred of you." Thats when Rosie held out her hand for the Yellow monster to shake. "I'm not that scarry" She said than she took the yellow monsters hand and brought him over to the pink monster. The Yellow monsetr and the pink monster shook hands. Then again Rosie took the Pink monsters hand and took her over to the green monster. The Pink monster and the green monster hugged. Thats how Rosie got new monster frineds that don't scare her anymore. THE END
